St Kilda Writers Festival events operate under Covid safe settings. We will update our policies in accordance with the Victorian Governments latest guidelines.
The safety of our audiences, artists and staff is our priority. We ask that all visitors and participants follow COVID-safe practices as outline on our website and as guided by the venue staff and volunteers.
COVID Q & A
Can I refund my ticket if I have covid or have cause for concern as a close contact?
Yes you may arrange a refund if the following applies ( of course we would be delighted to arrange an exchange to another event ) Please contact us on admin@stkildawritersweek.com before midday on the day of your booked event.
Are required to self-isolate or quarantine (and the event falls within the isolation/quarantine period)
Have COVID-like symptoms, have tested positive for COVID and/or are awaiting PCR test results.
What you can do to be safe and keep others safe?
We encourage our patrons and participants to follow COVID-safe practices to keep themselves and others safe, you can do this by
Carry a face mask with you. Although mask-wearing is no longer mandated by the Victorian Government we currently recommend wearing one at our indoor events. If you do not have a mask with you but would feel more comfortable wearing one inside a venue, ask our friendly staff or volunteers who will happily provide one for you;
Make frequent use of the hand sanitiser and washing facilities at the venue;
Listen to and comply with instructions given by venue staff and volunteers;
