INTRODUCTION
Karina Kilmore spent more than 30 years writing and analysing financial crimes as a business journalist and was also book editor at the Herald Sun. Her debut novel, Where the Truth Lies, was a finalist of the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards (unpublished manuscript), the 2020 Ned Kelly Awards (Best Debut Crime Fiction), two Davitt Awards, and the 2021 Ngaio Marsh Awards (Best First Novel).
